Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable government legislation, local health requirements, and World Courier procedures.
  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all applicable depot activities.
  • Manage product status changes both physically and systematically, according to client instructions and internal procedures.
  • Perform quality checks related to relabeling activities when there is no local Quality representative or when assigned by the Quality Department, in accordance with applicable local regulations.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the clinical protocols and products stored at the depot.
  • Provide instructions and guidance to depot personnel regarding applicable product and protocol requirements.
  • Review shipment documentation and product arrival conditions.
  • Support the organization, maintenance, and accuracy of product-related documentation and records.
  • Act as Deputy Depot Pharmacist when required, within the scope of applicable local legislation.
  • Conduct periodic depot self-inspections to help ensure that facilities and activities comply with established SOPs.
  • Identify and report potential staffing or scheduling issues that may affect depot operations. Perform other duties and responsibilities for which appropriate training has been provided.

Education:

  • Degree in Pharmacy or diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Educational qualifications must comply with applicable local regulatory requirements in Chile.
  • Pharmacist registration with the applicable Ministry of Health, as required by local regulations.

## Work Experience:

  • 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience working as a pharmacist is preferred.
  • Experience working in a regulated pharmaceutical, depot, or pharmaceutical logistics environment is an advantage.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical relabeling is desirable.
  • Experience in clinical trials is desirable.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical products, documentation, inventory, and traceability processes is an advantage.

Skills And Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and ICH guidelines.
  • Knowledge and application of Chilean Technical Standard No. 147 (BPAD - Good Storage and Distribution Practices).
  • Knowledge of Chilean Technical Standard No. 208 for the Storage and Transportation of Refrigerated and Frozen Pharmaceutical Products.
  • Knowledge of Chilean Technical Standard No. 127 (Good Manufacturing Practices).
