National Sales Manager – Transfusion Management

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic National Sales Manager to lead our Transfusion Management business and drive sustainable growth across the country.

In this role, you will combine strategic leadership, people management and hands-on sales execution, while bringing strong clinical and solution-selling expertise to support the adoption of our portfolio of software and capital solutions.

You will lead a team of sales professionals and application specialists, while playing a key role in shaping the commercial strategy and strengthening our presence with hospitals and key stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

Drive business performance

  • Lead the achievement of national sales targets and revenue growth for the Transfusion Management portfolio
  • Define and execute a national business strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic projects
  • Manage sales pipeline, forecasting and overall commercial performance

Lead and develop your team

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of Territory Sales Representatives and Application Specialists
  • Set clear objectives, territories and priorities to maximise performance
  • Drive a high-performing culture through coaching, accountability and development
  • Support recruitment and talent development within the team

Engage key customers & shape the market

  • Build strong relationships with clinicians, transfusion laboratories, hospital decision makers and KOLs
  • Support complex and strategic sales cycles directly where needed
  • Drive adoption of Transfusion Management solutions towards standard of care
  • Develop and nurture a network of clinical champions

Bring strong clinical & solution expertise

  • Act as a trusted partner by understanding clinical workflows, hospital environments and transfusion practices
  • Lead a consultative sales approach, combining clinical, operational and economic value
  • Support product demonstrations, training sessions and solution positioning
  • Contribute to evidence generation (clinical benefits, usage data, case studies)

Collaborate cross-functionally

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Medical, Market Access and Training teams
  • Translate customer insights into actionable strategies and value propositions
  • Contribute to the development of sales tools, training programs and go-to-market initiatives
  • Participate in national and strategic projects

Represent the business externally

  • Stay up to date on market trends, clinical guidelines, regulatory changes and competition
  • Represent the company at congresses, industry events and customer meetings
  • Strengthen brand positioning and market leadership in Transfusion Management

What we’re looking for

Experience

  • Significant experience in medical device or healthcare sales, including complex solution selling
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving growth
  • Solid people management experience, leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Experience in transfusion, blood management, laboratory systems or healthcare software is a strong plus
  • Exposure to hospital environments (LAB, OR, ICU) highly desirable
