Public Health Educator

Function as a community health worker conducting no-medical drivers of health screenings, conducting home visits and delivering ongoing case management to connect participants with needed community and social services. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s license

Must be a certified community health worker or medical assistant with strong data entry skills using electronic health records, client record documentation, Microsoft intermediate skills, active listening and motivational interviewing skills.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Behavioral Science or a closely related field such as Public Health.

No experience is required. Directly related professional experience in Public Health, Education or a closely related field may be substituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
