The Trims & Finishing Coordinator ensures that every product is developed with the best components: trims, accessories, labels, closures, embellishments, and finishing techniques. This role includes defining trims & finishing strategy, overseeing component selection and compliance, and supporting product development teams.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the trims & finishing strategy.
- Support selection of components aligned with product requirements.
- Ensure compliance of trims (testing, standards, certifications).
- Manage trims library, samples, reservations, and validations.
- Coordinate trims commitments and deliveries with suppliers.
- Optimize costs, MOQs, and lead times.
- Resolve trims- and finishing-related issues in production.
- Facilitate communication between teams and suppliers.
- Contribute to innovation projects related to components and finishes.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in fashion, technical design, textile science, or relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in trims, fashion accessories, technical components, or finishing.
- Strong understanding of trims and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of product development and tech packs.
- Proficiency in French and English.
- Attention to detail, creativity, analytical mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Availability to travel abroad.
