We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Consultant (Senior Advanced Services Engineer) with strong Oracle Health development expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience developing and supporting Oracle Health Revenue Cycle Management solutions, with deep knowledge of Registration, Scheduling, Charge Services, Patient Accounting, Billing, Claims, and Health Information Management (HIM).
This is a hands-on technical role focused on designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and supporting Oracle Health applications. The successful candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support healthcare revenue cycle operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Oracle Health solutions using CCL, DiscernDev, MPage, Java, and related development tools.
- Develop and maintain custom components, scripts, reports, and interfaces to support Revenue Cycle Management requirements.
- Configure and support Oracle Health RCM modules, including Registration, Scheduling, Charge Services, Patient Accounting, Billing, Claims, and HIM.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations between Oracle Health and external healthcare systems, including Health Insurance Post Offices.
- Develop and maintain Health Plan configurations, Contractual Discounts, payer rules, and claim submission logic to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Perform system analysis, debugging, root cause analysis, and issue resolution for production and project-related incidents.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability of custom solutions.
- Participate in technical design sessions and provide development estimates for project deliverables.
- Develop unit tests and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployments.
- Prepare technical documentation, code documentation, and deployment guides.
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and Infrastructure teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical support during implementation, go-live, and post-production activities.
- Follow development standards, coding best practices, and change management processes.
Responsibilities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years experience in developing Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) and/or Oracle Health (Cerner) solutions.
- Extensive hands-on experience developing Oracle Health solutions using:
- CCL
- DiscernDev
- Custom MPage Development
- Java
- Strong SQL and Oracle database development experience.
- Experience developing healthcare interfaces and integrations using HL7, FHIR, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, and JSON.
- Experience supporting Oracle Health Revenue Cycle Management modules, including Registration, Scheduling, Charge Services, Patient Accounting, Billing, Claims, and HIM.
- Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes, payer workflows, Health Plan configuration, Contractual Discounts, charge capture, and claim processing.
- Experience integrating with Health Insurance Post Offices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience with source control, deployment processes, and production support.
