You'll be the heartbeat of our sales operation, ensuring opportunities, customer activity and pipeline information are captured accurately by consistently engaging with sales teams and holding them accountable for timely updates.

Alongside CRM management, you'll provide administrative and coordination support to the wider sales team, helping ensure they can focus on building relationships, winning business and growing accounts.

This role offers flexibility and could suit someone looking for part-time, school-hours or flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of CRM accuracy, data quality and user compliance across the sales function.
  • Proactively contact Sales Directors and their teams to obtain updates on opportunities, customer activity and pipeline progression.
  • Update daily and maintain CRM records to ensure information is current, complete and accurate.
  • Follow up relentlessly on missing information, overdue updates and outstanding actions to drive CRM discipline.
  • Challenge gaps, inconsistencies and incomplete records to ensure reporting is reliable and meaningful.
  • Produce regular pipeline, activity and sales reports for management teams.
  • Maintain customer contact databases and account information.
  • Support the preparation of customer presentations, proposals, quotations and sales documentation.
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation and meeting arrangements for the sales team.
  • Assist with customer onboarding and account administration activities.
  • Schedule customer meetings and manage follow-up actions.
  • Support the organisation of trade shows, exhibitions, customer visits and sales events.
  • Manage document control and filing for sales opportunities and customer accounts.
  • Provide general administrative support to the wider sales function.

We're looking for someone who is

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident speaking with people at all levels of the business, including senior leaders.
  • Comfortable picking up the phone every day to gather updates, follow up actions and keep information flowing.
  • Naturally persistent and not afraid to politely pester people when information is missing or overdue.
  • Able to build positive working relationships whilst maintaining accountability and discipline.
  • Strong administration and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience in sales support, administration, coordination or customer-facing roles would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
  • Experience of CRM systems would be beneficial but is not required. We are looking for the right person and attitude; we can teach the systems.
