Job Description

The LSV Logistics Assistant is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient execution of transport and warehouse activities from Murony (HU) sourcing plant to our internal and external customers with excellent service levels to our customers.

Accountabilities

• Ensure daily and on time delivery form sourcing plant(s) to different stakeholders (Commercial Units, Third party customers, tollers…).
• Be the focal point for the 3PL regarding all the daily operations.
• Collect and ensure that the appropriate documentation is available depending on the destination country and check accuracy of the whole set of documents for each shipment. Collaborate with authorities (NÉBIH, Chamber of Commerce) and customs brokers from this perspective.
• Be the focal point for the warehouse and site logistics (Syngenta or tollers).

Qualifications

• 1-3 years experience in logistics, particularly in export activities, international trade processes, and international freight-forwarding regulations
• Fluent English and Hungarian language skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate regularly and effectively with colleagues and business partners in the Netherlands and Hungary
• Proficiency in using SAP or another Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system in a day-to-day operational environment
• Strong administrative and organisational skills, with a precise and structured approach to work and deadlines
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in an international, cross-functional environment
• Willingness to occasional visits to Murony.
