Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the fee earners to draft and related legal documents and support on all aspects of transactional matters
- Document management
- Assisting with legal due diligence
- Assisting with legal research
- Assisting with office regulatory matters involving fee earners and interaction with relevant authorities
- Preparing and updating relevant client, market and legal updates
- Assisting with submissions to legal directories
- Assisting with preparing fee proposals
- Assisting new client and matter opening processes including client engagement arrangements
- Assisting and managing document translations
- Assisting and attending notarizations and other filings
Requirements:
- A law degree holder with relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese
- Experience in managing a demanding workload
- Has a positive and pro-active work attitude and can work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible regarding working hours is essential
- Attention to detail
