##
##
You'll work closely with Product, Design and Engineering leaders to modernise our platforms, influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and deliver products used by millions of Australians every month. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing technical leadership with hands-on engineering and delivery.

- ## Partner closely with Product and Design teams to shape roadmaps and translate customer and business needs into technical solutions.
- ## Guide architecture and engineering decisions across modern web applications, ensuring scalability, performance, accessibility, and maintainability.
- ## Champion engineering best practices across software development, testing, DevOps, security, and observability.
- ## Stay hands-on where it matters most, coaching engineers and helping solve complex technical challenges.
##
Ideally you'll have
- ## Proven experience leading software engineering teams in Agile environments.
- ## Strong experience building large-scale, customer-facing web applications.
- ## Deep expertise in modern frontend technologies, particularly React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- ## Experience delivering responsive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences.
- ## Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across Product, Design, and Engineering.
- ## Experience with modern engineering practices including CI/CD, testing, and cloud-native development.
- ## Exposure to Next.js, Node.js, AWS, microservices, or distributed systems would be highly regarded.
