Avionics Technical Support Engineer – Aftermarket
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Technical Support Engineer to provide high-quality technical support for a range of avionics systems, including flight recorders, electronic standby instruments, SATCOM, TCAS, and TAWS. This role is well-suited for candidates with a strong technical foundation and a passion for problem-solving who want to build deeper expertise in aviation technology.
As part of the technical support organization, you will assist customers with troubleshooting, maintenance, and operational guidance while collaborating closely with internal teams to resolve issues and improve product performance. The role also emphasizes the use of automation and AI to improve field service outcomes, including faster diagnostics, smarter maintenance workflows, and automated reporting, with a continuous improvement mindset focused on reducing repeat issues and improving uptime, quality, and response time.
Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aviation, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience
- 2–5 years of experience in technical support, avionics, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of digital electronics and RF systems; familiarity with avionics systems preferred
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Experience using automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
- Demonstrated a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to evaluate processes and implement more effective ways of working
- Ability to adopt and promote automation and AI tools to improve team speed, quality, and execution
Preferred Additional Skills
