Join us on an exciting journey as a Product Manager for NEC Housing!
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative products for the Social Housing sector covering areas such as AI, workflow, case management, customer engagement, including our award-winning NEC Engage app! With over £8.5m annual investment in our award-winning solutions, we’re committed to helping customers deliver better services, more effectively.
We’re looking for passionate individuals to join a dynamic team that’s focused on exceeding customer expectations, maximising intellectual property, and driving transformation across the sector.
From market assessment through to requirements decomposition, build support, and final test verification, you’ll ensure the NEC Housing platform empowers customers to meet the challenges they face.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to understand legislative, regulatory, competitive, and economic trends, as well as evolving market drivers.
- Become the subject matter expert in your product area, providing guidance to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with customers through co-design workshops, user groups, and meetings to capture insights and shape requirements.
- Define customer business needs and objectives to ensure NEC Housing products meet or exceed expectations.
- Create requirements, user stories, and wireframes for new developments, working closely with development and QA teams to deliver solutions that achieve customer outcomes.
- Partner with Technical Authors to produce and review product documentation.
- Build business cases including market uptake, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Identify and manage any third-party requirements, liaising with suppliers and integrators as needed.
- Define and maintain the roadmap for your product area(s).
- Support Pre-Sales and Sales teams with bid responses, proposals, and quotations.
- Deliver presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Contribute to product launch activities.
