Job Profile Summary:

The Geoscience Analyst will provide technical support to the Business Development (ie. Asset Evaluation Team or AET), with a focus on fast-paced acquisition, divestiture, and business development evaluations. This role will work closely with geoscientists and engineers to gather, condition, integrate, analyze, and present geological and geophysical data across multiple basins and asset types.

Job Description:

· Build, manage, and maintain Kingdom projects supporting geoscience and asset evaluations.

· Gather, load, condition, integrate, and manage well logs, formation tops, seismic, production, spatial, and other technical data.

· Support geoscientists and engineers with maps, cross sections, technical displays, presentations, and analytical products.

· Source and integrate data from internal, vendor, regulatory, and public databases.

· Maintain data quality, consistency, organization, and accessibility across technical projects and databases.

· Support loading and manipulation of seismic and well data, including SEGY, digital well logs, interpretations, and metadata.

· Work with technical teams to define project requirements, data needs, and deliverables on accelerated evaluation timelines.

· Identify opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve geoscience workflows and data-management processes.

· Provide mapping, spatial analysis, and other technical support as needed.

Skills and Experience:

· Strong proficiency with Kingdom and experience managing geoscience projects and technical data.

· Experience with ArcGIS, Petrel, Spotfire, FME, Python, SQL, automation, AI/machine learning, or advanced analytics is a plus but not required.

· Working knowledge of geological and geophysical data used in upstream oil and gas.

· Strong data-management, quality-control, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality technical products in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with geoscientists, engineers, and other technical professionals.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, Geography, GIS, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or commensurate relevant experience.

· 5+ years of relevant experience in geoscience technical support, geoscience analysis, technical data management, or a related discipline.

· Upstream oil and gas experience strongly preferred; A&D, business development, exploration, or asset evaluation experience is a plus.
