Job Description
At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, Syngenta’s Crop Protection Team is seeking a Technician 5 in Vero Beach, FL.
Accountabilities:
- Support laboratory, greenhouse, and field research activities by preparing plants, seeds, insects, media, assays, and other materials needed for scientific testing and trial execution with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation by recording experimental data, task completion, observations, and operational activities in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure work areas, equipment, and materials are clean, organized, and operating efficiently while adhering to all Syngenta Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with scientists, specialists, and cross-functional teams to understand project needs, prioritize support activities, communicate progress, and contribute to successful research outcomes.
- Provide operational support across laboratory, greenhouse, and field environments by assisting with daily activities, adapting to changing priorities, and contributing to the achievement of team and project goals.
Qualifications
