Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for enterprise web applications using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Build reusable automation components and continuously enhance the automation framework.
- Leverage AI tools such as Claude and other Generative AI platforms to accelerate test case creation, script generation, and automation productivity.
- Review, optimise, and maintain AI-generated automation scripts to ensure quality, maintainability, and reliability.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
- Contribute to automation standards, framework improvements, and AI-driven testing best practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with ERP and/or Salesforce applications
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experience designing and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of Claude or similar Generative AI/LLM tools for software development or test automation.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar is an added advantage.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
