The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating profitable new business by identifying, developing, and closing commercial printing opportunities. This position serves as the company's primary business development professional and is responsible for building relationships with prospective customers, understanding their printing and marketing needs, and presenting solutions that generate long-term customer value.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify and pursue new commercial printing opportunities.
- Prospect through networking, referrals, cold calling, email campaigns, and community involvement.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Schedule and conduct customer meetings and facility visits.
- Present company capabilities and value propositions.
- Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations.
- Close new business and negotiate profitable agreements.
Account Development
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer accounts.
- Conduct regular customer visits to strengthen relationships.

Sales Coordination
- Gather complete job requirements from customers.

- Meet or exceed established activity and sales goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
- Minimum three years of successful business-to-business outside sales experience.
- Commercial printing, graphic communications, or related industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting and developing new business.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
