What you will do

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support within a dynamic legal environment. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys across various practice areas, including estate planning, employment law, contracts, civil litigation, and more. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in legal research and document management, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

The Legal Secretary will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office of the General Counsel of business consulting operations by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and coordinating client interactions.

Responsibilities

Experience

  • Prior experience as a Legal Secretary or in a legal support role is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of procedural law, civil litigation support, and legal drafting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Excellent proofreading skills coupled with strong writing abilities for legal documentation.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while maintaining professionalism.
  • Paralegal experience or background in specific practice areas such as civil litigation, employment law or corporate law is a plus.
  • Familiarity with document review processes and client communication protocols.
