Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and dedicated Physician (MD) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive reproductive and preventive healthcare services while delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. The ideal candidate is committed to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based medicine, patient education, and high-quality clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive reproductive and preventive healthcare services.
- Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide contraceptive management and preventive health screenings.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, wellness, and treatment options.
- Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Provide clinical oversight to the Family Planning Nurse Practitioner under the Prescriptive Authority Agreement (PAA).
- Conduct clinical quality assurance activities, including provider chart audits.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state grant requirements.
- Assist in developing and implementing clinical protocols and evidence-based practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association (AMA).
Licensure
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Texas.
- Valid Texas Driver's License.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing as a physician in the United States.
Preferred Skills
- Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic abilities.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Knowledge of reproductive health, preventive medicine, and family planning services.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
