Project Coordinator

Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.

Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Project Coordinator to support the planning and coordination of ongoing projects across the organization. You will help keep tasks, timelines, documentation, and communication organized while working with different teams to ensure projects move forward smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Coordinate project tasks, timelines, and follow-ups
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status updates
• Communicate with internal teams and stakeholders regarding project activities
• Schedule meetings and coordinate project-related activities
• Track deadlines, outstanding tasks, and next steps
• Help identify and escalate issues that may affect project progress
• Prepare basic project reports and updates
• Provide administrative support to project managers and teams

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Previous experience in project coordination, administration, operations, or a similar role
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good communication and follow-up skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital collaboration tools
• Proactive approach to identifying and addressing routine issues
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment
• Reliable internet connection and workspace
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

NICE TO HAVE

• Previous project coordination experience
• Familiarity with project management or task-tracking tools
• Experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
• Background in food service, retail, hospitality, care, or other multi-location environments

COMPENSATION

$45,000–$60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
