Manulife is seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Campus Recruiter to lead early-career hiring initiatives across Japan. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end campus recruitment programmes, building strong partnerships with universities and internal stakeholders, and driving Manulife's presence at key career forums and employer branding events to attract and hire the next generation of talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities for graduate, internship, and other early-career hiring programmes.
- Execute campus recruiting strategies and hiring plans aligned with business talent needs.
- Partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to provide recruitment guidance and deliver hiring outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with universities, career centres, student organisations, and external partners.
- Plan, coordinate, and represent Manulife at university events, career fairs, and major career forums.
- Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives to enhance Manulife's visibility among students and early-career professionals.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress, pipeline health, and programme effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, candidate experience, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of campus recruiting experience within a global or multinational organisation.
- Proven experience managing graduate and internship hiring programmes.
- Demonstrated success in organising and participating in university recruiting events, career fairs, and large-scale career forums.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate and influence across multiple functions and levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, insurance, technology, or other multinational organisations.
- Strong understanding of Japan's university recruitment landscape and campus hiring trends.
- Experience supporting employer branding, campus marketing, and talent attraction initiatives.
