Accountant

Support Services Group is looking for a high-energy, self-motivated, results-driven Accountant.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional Experience

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in Mexico, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
• Hands-on experience with accounts payable, vendor invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
• Experience reviewing and processing invoices and ensuring proper documentation and payment follow-up.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CONTPAQi / CompaQ accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial data.
• Working knowledge of Mexican tax regulations, particularly:
• VAT (IVA)
• Income Tax (ISR)
• General Mexican tax compliance and reporting obligations.
• Basic knowledge of payroll processes and IMSS requirements.

Language

• Fluent or advanced English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proactive follow-up skills and the ability to keep track of pending tasks and payments.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with internal teams.
