Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, skilled MIG Welder to fabricate and weld metal components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, can read blueprints, and takes pride in quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to blueprint and specification requirements.
• Set up and safely operate welding equipment, fixtures, clamps, and hand tools.
• Load, position, and secure materials for welding.
• Adjust welding settings based on material type and thickness.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with customer standards.
• Perform layout, multi-position welding, and metal finishing as needed.
• Assist with weld fixture fabrication and routine equipment maintenance.
• Safely move materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and pallet jacks when certified.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete required production and quality documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications.
• Experience welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
• Knowledge of welding equipment setup, measuring tools, and shop equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials safely.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.
