Automotive Assembly Worker – All Shifts

Pay: $19.00–$21.00 per hour Shifts: 2nd Shift Available

Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Automotive Assembly Workers to join a manufacturing team producing automotive foam seating components. This position involves assembling seating products according to specifications while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, efficiency, and housekeeping.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive foam seating and related components according to specifications and work instructions
• Perform line and support operations to produce automotive seating units
• Follow Operator Description Sheets and established assembly procedures
• Use hand-held pneumatic tools and other equipment safely and effectively
• Perform quality inspections throughout the assembly process
• Identify and control nonconforming products until issues are corrected
• Restock materials and work areas as needed to maintain efficient workflow
• Monitor production materials and report shortages
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions
• Work as part of a team to meet production and quality goals
• Help identify and solve workplace or production issues
• Participate in plant meetings, team activities, and required stretching/exercise activities
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent reaching, bending, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to lift and carry seating components, foam seats, and finished products
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks
• Comfortable working with hand-held pneumatic tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, or assembly experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn multiple production processes and cross-train on different jobs
• Commitment to following safety procedures and company policies

• 1st Shift: Available
• 2nd Shift: Available
• 3rd Shift: Available
• Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, based on shift and/or experience
