Assistant Manager - Market Researcher Grade: Assistant Manager Salary: As per the industry

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Support the research activities of Hitachi Research Institute (HRI), which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The activities include, but not limited to, the followings:
• Collect and organize the information on macroeconomy, government policy/ geopolitics, finance, technology, industry, and energy & environment in India as well as other regions globally.
• Identify critical uncertainties for Hitachi, and opportunity/threat for Hitachi through the comparison with the present status of business strategy of Hitachi and competitor benchmarking.
• Work out the measures to capture opportunities and reduce threats
• Supervise junior researcher in the team in India.

Required Qualification and Characteristics:

• Master’s degree in economics/ commerce/ business from a reputed college or university.
• 7+ years of related work experience preferably with a market research/ consulting/ credit rating firm or strategy/ corporate office of multinational company.
• Ability to handle research & consultancy assignments independently including writing research proposal, conducting research (secondary, primary), report writing, communication with Hitachi businesses.
• Open to travel both domestic and foreign.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), ability to use AI for research works.
• Team management and good interpersonal skills for team building, stakeholder management.
