Operations Specialist – Data Analytics (Chinese Speaking)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support business operations through data analysis and reporting. The successful candidate will analyze operational performance, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and provide data-driven insights to improve business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and monitor operational data, including campaign performance, user activity, retention, and transaction trends.
• Prepare regular reports and dashboards to support business decisions.
• Evaluate campaign performance, ROI, and user conversion metrics.
• Identify operational issues through data analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Collaborate with the operations, product, and technical teams to develop data-driven strategies.
• Support ongoing optimization of operational performance through actionable insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or game economy/balancing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, and data modeling.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in Chinese and English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the online gaming industry, particularly with casino-style or slot-based games.
• Knowledge of probability, statistics, and game economy or balancing principles.
• Experience using Python for data analysis, simulation, or data processing.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools, or data visualization platforms is an advantage.
