Location: Normal, IL Shift: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–12:00 AM

Job Summary

We are hiring Automotive Seat Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team in Normal, IL.

This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals interested in automotive assembly, production, and manufacturing. No previous automotive assembly experience is required. Training is provided.

Employees will assemble vehicle seating components while following work instructions, meeting production goals, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble automotive seats and seating components according to work instructions.
• Install seat covers, foam, frames, hardware, and other components.
• Use hand tools and power tools as required.
• Follow established assembly processes and production procedures.
• Perform basic quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Identify and report quality issues or defective components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Assist with other production duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Automotive assembly experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work overtime or adjusted schedules based on production needs.
