We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field installation crews and ensure high‑quality, code‑compliant fire sprinkler system installations. This role requires a knowledgeable, organized, and safety‑driven leader who can manage people, materials, and daily production while maintaining strong communication with project managers, inspectors, and general contractors.
Position Overview
The Fire Sprinkler Foreman oversees all on‑site installation activities for commercial, industrial, and residential fire sprinkler projects. This includes coordinating manpower, reading plans, ensuring proper installation methods, maintaining safety standards, and delivering work on schedule. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who understands NFPA requirements, anticipates project needs, and keeps crews productive and aligned.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead fire sprinkler installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications, and NFPA codes.
- Plan daily work, set production goals, and maintain job pacing.
- Ensure proper installation of piping, hangers, heads, valves, and related components.
- Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, inspections, and subcontractors.
- Maintain strict safety standards and enforce company and OSHA requirements.
- Communicate progress, issues, and needs with project managers and inspectors.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
- Complete daily reports, track production, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of fire sprinkler installation experience; foreman or lead installer experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA standards, fire codes, and proper installation practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, layout systems, and plan work efficiently.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and maintain productivity.
- Experience with steel, CPVC, and other fire sprinkler piping systems.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- NICET certification is a plus.
