With offices in San Antonio, TX, and Easton, PA, they specialize in dam design, rehabilitation, and safety evaluations, along with other water-related infrastructure projects.
They are seeking a highly experienced and self-sufficient Senior Water Resources Engineer to lead and grow their Easton, PA office. This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role, taking over an existing portfolio of dam projects while also driving business development and expanding our presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Easton, PA office with oversight from company leadership based in San Antonio.
- Take over and manage ongoing dam-related projects, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop new business opportunities in dam safety, rehabilitation, and water resources.
- Serve as the primary technical expert for dam-related projects, including inspections, design, permitting, and compliance.
- Maintain and build relationships with local and regional clients, regulatory agencies, and industry partners.
- Provide mentorship and leadership for the Easton office team.
- Handle basic office management duties with support from the San Antonio administrative staff.
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a strong focus on dams (design, rehabilitation, safety inspections, permitting, and compliance).
- Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including client interactions, budgets, and regulatory approvals.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management within the engineering sector.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to operate autonomously while aligning with company goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
