Job Description

Our client, a well-established clothes retailer based in Shrewsbury has a position available for a Marketing Assistant & Copywriter to join their team.

The successful candidate will be creative and possess excellent writing skills, be enthusiastic, self-motivated with ambition to learn and progress. You will have a flexible approach, can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail.

Your primary focus will be developing and creating marketing content with a strong ability to produce quality written content for social media, websites and email.

You will also prepare daily/weekly marketing content and communicate with customers, influencers and brand partners via social media and email.

The successful applicant must possess a keen interest in fashion, design and be able to recognise trends/changes in the fashion industry.

Role and Responsibility:

• Planning and producing editorial and advertising content
• Writing exciting features for email & social media
• Writing high quality product descriptions online with brand's tone of voice
• Designing layouts that are appropriate for blogs/email
• Conceptualising creative content with our marketing team
• Designing, building and sending engaging email marketing campaigns
• Scheduling content across social media platforms; Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Required Skills and Experience:

• Excellent writing skills and command of the English language
• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and social media platforms
• Keen eye for detail and flair for design
• Ability to create engaging email marketing campaigns

This is a full time ongoing temporary position with the opportunity to turn permanent for the right candidate offering a competitive salary of £8.00 per hour working Monday – Friday between 9:00am -5:00pm
