The Talent Acquisition Manager will act as a strategic talent advisor and manage the full life cycle recruitment process for assigned client groups in China. She/he need to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, business leaders, hiring managers, global and local PX team. Primary focus is to deliver a phenomenal client experience through results and credibility. She/he need to build effective internal and external networks and relationships with a focus on bringing the best practice techniques and overcoming challenging recruiting situations, while enabling future organizational growth.
60% Talent Acquisition Strategy & Delivery
- Strategically partnership with business leaders, hiring managers and PXBP to identify and build the external talent pipeline based on the business initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple business leaders, and be able to advise and influence business leaders on talent strategies which will yield the short-term, mid-term and long-term success. Share the market/talent insights with business team and come up with suggestions.
- Develop and execute hiring strategy (not limited to hiring channels, candidate journey design, vendor exploration and management, and employer branding strategy etc.) to match the hiring requirements in different level and function’s position.
- Lead and manage whole recruitment process with efficiency and quality, including talent sourcing, selection, evaluation, reference check, and offer negotiation.
- Conduct job brief with hiring manager to clearly understand business requirements, searching criteria and evaluation standards, conduct in-depth interviews with qualified applicants to determine level of qualification and identify top talent for open positions.
- Design and monitor key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment efforts build and maintain candidate database.
- Leverage and analyze Data and Recruitment Reports to effectively partner with the Team and Business
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, employment trends affecting the recruitment function and current employment legislation and policies.
- Continuous improvement: refine and increase the quality of search delivery, recruitment experience and the diversity of slates.
15% Channel Development & Optimization
- Efficiently manage all sourcing channels, such as internal referral, career portals, job fairs, job posts, search firms etc.,
- Develop and implement digital and social channels to attract and recruit candidates.
- Build partnerships with external agencies and search firms to identify and engage with passive talent.
- Build long-term and sustainable partnerships with local institute and colleges to strengthen the Deckers brand and create a pipeline of entry-level talent.
- Lead, plan and facilitate in campus recruitment program when needed.
15% Project Management
- Closely partner with global and local PX team to ensure consistency in recruitment strategy/practices across the region, align local process and global process to drive best practice standardization.
- Lead or participate in global, local projects focused on improvement of Talent Acquisition function.
- Support Global ATS recruiting system to implement in China when needed.
- Collaborate with global and local PX team to plan, organize and implement various internal / external activities to enhance Deckers Employer Branding, Employer Belongings and candidate experience.
10% Leadership & Team Development
- Provide coaching and development to direct reports and ensure the area is constantly striving to develop
- Ensure adequate training for all direct reports in relevant areas as necessary to perform their role at their highest capability
- Provides regular, specific feedback and be receptive to receiving feedback
- Promote fairness and consistency in all areas of people management in line with our Deckers values
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
